Hikaru forms the creative and inspirational cornerstone of the 8titude team. He manages accounts, heads business planning, and transforms clients’ visions into reality.
Hikaru started his career with Leo Burnett in Kuala Lumpur, where he worked with major brands such as McDonald’s, Bata Asia and Jaguar Asia-Pacific. He was trained in design thinking and strategy at LIMKOKWING University of Creative Technology in Kuala Lumpur, where he majored in multimedia design and conducted in-depth explorations of corporate and marketing communication design, design management, corporate branding (visual, structure & management), colour theory and creative & art direction.
Experience that spans the United Kingdom, China and Southeast Asia, consummate software skills, teaching specialisations in design management and industrial information, fluency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu, and working with multiple dimensions of talent and abilities in agencies: Hikaru has distilled this blend of expertise and knowledge into a distinctive personal approach. At 8titude, he is currently managing accounts such as NTUC, Singbridge, IDA, AIC, MOE, NHG, HPB, KeppelLand, Raffles Quay Asset Management, S P Setia Bhd Group, SingTel Digital Life and Somfy Asia.
